" ASSASSINS OF DEATH_ (AOD) " have organised JNNCE CUP, a super six football tournament

5th of this month and continue till 7th.. Winners will be awarded with cash and medallions..

Blood donation camp

Our college has arranged a blood donation camp today (28/8) at administrative block.. volunteers may donate there blood n help those in need.. we are expecting participation of a large no of students..donate blood save lives..

POST BLOOD CAMP

The camp was a huge success with large no of students including girls participating in it. it began at around 9am and continued till 2 pm. we thank all the students who participated in this noble cause..this goodwill gesture of yours might save someones life someday.

the most beautiful n colorful fest of our col is over..the reactions from the students about it was not so encouraging..it was more of a singing compitation dan cultural fest..well this is what majority of us thought..nearly 10-12 songs were really tiring to hear...well some of dem were damm gud..
even though there wer only few danses they were awesome :)
people were enjoying off stage dance behind the seatings more then the actuall dance :)

Cultural team trip

yesterday the cultural team of our col had went on a trip to murdeshwara n honnavar...
left shimoga at 7.30 n came back at 2 am.

meanwhile the trip by our IE(I) has been cancelled it seems :(
dunno know the exact reasons fot it..

IEI TRIP

dear frndz......
After the grand success of TECHZONE2K9, IEI conveyor sir Y.J.suresh(mech dept) has decided to go for a trip with all IEI & techzone committee members.
well this is a gud sign......... after all students have really contributed a lot towards it & now they are reciving there fruit.
actually first it was decided to go on 26april(sun) to ST.marry's island near mallpe but then our beloved princy told that the trip should be fun cum educational. Just bcoz of princy's opinion the trip got postponed to 3may & now it seems they ll go either to varahi project or kaiga project, but there are more chances of going to varahi project.
it seems princy is alloting rs.10,000/ fund for the trip.

Gubbi Cultural Fest

The students of our college participated in various cultural events(FLAIR) Chennabasaveshvara Institute Of Technology, Gubbi n came out winning 9 prizes..The teams which won in the dance auditions that went on in MBA block, rangoli comp winners were selected to participate in events conducted here. There was also skit, mad act, n etc etc :)

Care has been taken to make this site user friendly by embedding a sound track of only 20 sec n the pics are redused in size n then uploaded to reduce the time taken in displaying them.. The students of A sec conducted a compitation titled 'Who is the well dressed person'
the participants were made to pay rs 3 as entry fee..boys were required to come in black and girls in white..well this was the plan of Anusha supported by Sachin KM..



There were three rounds..
1.In first round it was kind of presentation round where they were required to speak something about themselves..other participants whould judge then and vote for their selection...
2.The second round was announcement round
Shabaz won in boys section beating Krishanu narrowly by one vote
Alka anand won in girls section beating nearest rival Achala Joshi
3.The third round was photo session

There was some exchange of words between A sec students n senior norties who also wanted to enter the class room n see to the proceedings...
everything else went on well..

SPORTS

Inter college(mysore zone) as well as Inter branch sports will be held in march..

starting with basketball for which the last date for submitting the team is 20th..
teams will be from branches like CS, IS, MECH and first year we can give as many team as we like...no division by branch in first year team..every one can mix n give a good team...

The timetable for the sports will be displayed or will be pasted outside each class room..see to it for more info

change of teacher !!

its becoming common talk nowadays, everybody wants the teacher is some subjects to be changed!

but frnds this is not good..in engg u have to put ur effort..teaching is same in all the colleges across india..some teach good some not so gud.. when this prob occurs with a new teacher instead of criticising him/her support them tell them what ur not understandin give them ur view like whats wrong in teachin n all.. they r tryin their best to becom better day by day.. all the expirienced lecturers like baliga, shantrajappa were also a beginer at some point of their life...

so help the lecturers just by tellin what u don understand n askin doubts..they will also be the best some day..

A new begining

at last the wait is over..college starts
the college reopened with lots of enthusiasm yesterday..the attendance was not 100% though..
those who had come yesterday knew what to do but for the ppl who still haven't come u have to do some things
1. bring books the first day only..they ain't goin to give any rest.
2.register urself at ur respective department's lab by writing ur name in the list and puttin ur signature by the side of it..
3. timetable is displayed at the department's notice board

at last 15 days, no study no tension..so plan wherever u hav to go n enjoy coz after dat.. u know what am saying..vtu wil be back to screw us.. C cycle had CCP yesterday..students were sayin paper was easy but objective types were quite confusing bla bla.. 

"if u have studied properly everythin is easy" our parents respond like this this when we tell them dat the exam was tuff..its really irritates when we get responses like this after studying so much..

Library books should be returned ..yesterday was the last day but who cares..if the pages are torn then gum it properly n give it..or else they wont accept it..will ask you to bring a new one..

Externals over!!

At last the worst part of our first sem just got over...but for only P cycle students...C guys...study hard he he!! Every ones very happy..yesterday after the exams boys were found were found shouting and enjoying n doing whatever they wanted outside the old block..security guards came and warned to maintain silence..was lot of fun to watch..

majority of the students think the exam was shit..quite tuff..Mathemetics screwed every one..Felt like we were answering AIEEE..LOLZ. 

Mechanical paper had one full question out of syllabus..students r in a hope that they will be given grace marks for that..but its not gonna happen accordin to senior students..this has happened many times in past n not a time grace has been given...

ENV was very easy ppl were seen outside within 15 min of commencement of exams..CIPE was somewhat tuff first person to come out was after 30 min..

Chemistry cycle students have CCP remaining on 20th..After that OUr first sem wil be over..Che cycle students get ready for P cycle..u hav a lot to write n no comp in this cycle..only hammer, files, welding gun..LOL

College will reopen on 5th ot 9th..dont know the exact date..will be updated as soon as we come to know..
